Dan Freidus, researcher, columnist and author of "The History and Die Varieties of the Higley Copper"  will explore the history of colonial money, tokens and exchange mediums including Simsbury's own Higley coppers.

Jack Larkin, Chief Historian of Old Sturbridge Village and author of "Where We Lived: Discovering the Places We Once Called Home" will speak on the variety of business opportunities available in the late 18th and early 19th centuries as well as sign copies of his book which will be on sale that evening.
